I recently had the opportunity to visit deleting village nestled in the picturesque countryside. As I approached the village, the rolling hills and lush greenery welcomed me, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Upon entering the village, I was greeted by the sight of charming cottages with thatched roofs. The air was filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers and the earthy aroma of the surrounding farmland. Exploring further, I came across a bustling marketplace filled with an array of foods. The vibrant colors and lively chatter created a lively and inviting atmosphere. As I continued my visit, I had the opportunity to participate in a traditional village feast on friends house, where I savored delicious homemade dishes prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The sense of community and hospitality was truly heartwarming, and I felt privileged to be welcomed into their midst. In the evening, I joined the villager (my friend's friend)for a bonfire gathering, where we shared stories and songs under the starry sky. The sense of unity and camaraderie was palpable, and I found myself immersed in the simple yet profound joy of human connection. As I bid farewell to the village, I carried with me a deep appreciation for the tranquility and authenticity of rural life. The experience left an indelible impression on me, reminding me of the beauty that can be found in slowing down and embracing the simple pleasures of life.

Basic little hall in need of a refurb

I had a stall at the Christmas fair, what a wonderful atmosphere! Lovely people and a wonderful time spent.

Went to see a show, Hello Hello, and it was brilliant and my daughter was in it"Zoe". The whole cast played their parts brilliantly. A great evening had by all. Colin Dawkins.

A really great local hall for your parties or events

A good village hall with proper stage and kitchen and decent wi-fi. Run by very helpful people, nothing is too much trouble. Recently smartened up, it looks good and the WiFi works well.

Good sized hall. Affordable to rent and great for your occasion! We went for a 10 year old birthday party and it was simply beautiful aftwr the decorations were in Parking is not abundant but we all found parking. It was good Definitely worth keepin in mind for future parties!!!!! 😍 🤩 👌 😘

Lovely large hall. Also a smaller room to the side. Perfect for parties and gatherings as has kitchen and parking.

For the size of Detling, this is a great village hall which could be used for all manner of activities. We attended a children's birthday party there and it was spot on. Great park behind the hall for young children.
